The Torn Veil

The Torn Veil. The Holy Spirit keeps ministering to my spirit regarding Esther.

Anyhow, as I reread the posting, the Holy Spirit promped the Word “mishpakha” (family in Hebrew), and I stopped in my tracks, and was silent trying to comprehend the message. You see when I post an article or writing, I also receive the message as a “reader”. I “understand” differemtly when I “write” than when I “read”.

So I mentally go over what I know to be true about the Book of Esther. I recall Mordecai is “family” (uncle) to Esther, and from the line of Benjamin. Then it struck me, yes, Esther was from the line of Benjamin. I contemplate that the video song “Your Love Is Extravagant” which I was prompted to use, is sung by the “Tribe of Benjamin.” A coincidence? I think not!

I felt it in my spirit to go over the Book of Esther once more, so in obedience, I reread the Book of Esther, diligently looking for “treasures” I must have missed. Then I read the portion where Mordecai advised Esther not to reveal that she was Jewish, so she kept it a secret.

I receive a Word or phrase in the language from Queen Esther’s kingdom, the Persian Language, otherwise known as Farsi. The phrase is: “Poshte pardeh”, meaning “behind the curtain.” After I recover from the awesome Word gift that the Holy Spirit has presented, I am thrilled to read more into it, and see what other “Pearl” I find.

As I ponder, this I see that Esther was “behind the curtain”in a way, as she had to hide the fact that she was Jewish. Then I look up the significance of “behind the curtain” as it pertains to the Persian culture, but as you know, in the Middle East, everything has layers and significance, and that includes, the language, the clothes, and so much more. At http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IslamicNewsUpdates/message/, I find the following: “describes the dual Iranian life: a public face, prescribed by law and obligation, and a private life conducted behind closed doors.”

My spirit sees beyond the above description and am led to Hebrews 6:19 which reads (see the two versions below):
International Standard Version (©2008)
”That hope, firm and secure like an anchor for our souls, reaches behind the curtain”
King James Bible
”Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil…”

I stop to reflect on God’s Word, I see that Esther’s obedience gave her access to the King, and the Throne room. Our Lord Jesus Christ by his blood, death and resurrection, gives us access to God and the Throne room also. Law and obligation as it continues in some cultures, was broken, torn and removed through our Lord Jesus. Matthew 27:50 -51 reads: And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.

A decicion was made as Esther laid down her life, (“if I perish, I perish”) before she entered the Throne Room, and later shed the internal curtain, and told her King, that she was Jewish, and gained access to all in the kingdom through the marriage contract, so to Christ chose to lay down his life before his Father, bringing down the curtain and establishing access to the Throne and a New Covenant.

Tear down that veil which is confining your life. Tear the veil and enter into the Holy of Holies, made possible by the Holy of Holies, yes enter into His presence. It is too extensive a study to cover in this post, (and “who am I Lord to expound on such a subject”), but if we consider that a veil separted the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies, we can reflect that sometimes we are satisified with just listening to Biblical Stories and such. But I dare you to tear that curtain down, for you will find the “Mercy Seat” just beyond the curtain, in the Holy of Holies.

Can you imagine, we have that same opportunity, to bring down the curtain and veils that we hide behind, that we use as a crutch, that which separates us from God. The tearing down of the curtain, or coming away from behind whatever curtain is hindering will grant you one to one access, 24 / 7, 365 days a year, not only on one special day, for the Day of Atonement is today, the Mercy Seat (Jesus Christ) is avialable and there just for you and me.

Just like Esther had to make a decision, there came a time in my life, where I had to bring down the curtain ,and make a decision. A decision for Christ. Read the following with me:

John 3:16 (KJV)says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1 Peter 3:18 reads: “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit”
How many curtains are hiding messes, hiding the unclean, and those places behind the curtains are dark places. Is your curtain worn with the ravages of time and sin, your efforts at stitching, just making more of a mess. Imagine, just on the other side of your curtain, your self-imposed barrier is sunshine (sonshine), rays of light, warmth and healing, life abundant, fresh air, living water and eternal life.
The sacrifice of Jeus has removed the veil of separation between us and God. Hebrew 4;16 reads: “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Just like Esther, we too can come into His presence with favor in His eyes granted to us through Jesus Christ, by saying this prayer: God the Father, your Son Jesus made it possible to tear down all the curtains covering my sin. With the shedding of the blood of Jesus for me, through His love and sacrifice, Jesus has taken me out of darkness and placed me in the light of your love and granted me salvation and eternal life. I confess my sins and repent of living separate from you. I come before you with the full assurance that I have been saved, and am a new creation in Christ.

The Extended Scepter…

Filed under: Jesus, Life, Devotional, Family, Prayer, Hope, Purpose, Marriage, Praise — kairoskingdomwomen @ 6:14 pm

He Extended His Scepter

Dear friends and family at the beginning of last week, I began to pray for a special event by “Circle of Power Women’s Ministry” called ‘Queen Esther’s Banquet” to be held on April 25, 2009.

I had purchased tickets for my sister and myself, and was looking forward to this event with other women of Faith. I asked the Holy Spirit to lead me in prayer and to reveal the areas for intercession for that event and the women attending, just like we do when “Heart to Heart” has a set appointment before the Lord, and when “Circle of Power” gathers every 1st Thursday of the Month.  I was surprised when I heard the Lord say the following, “I am not sending you as one from the Kingdom’s Court, I am sending you as a Court Reporter for an eyewitness account (Kerugma meaning Proclamation).

FYI:  CIRCLE OF POWER WOMEN’S MINISTRY has the study of QUEEN ESTHER’S BANQUET and PRELUDE TO QUEEN ESTHER’S BANQUET by Martha L. Rodriguez presented on CD available. You can contact this web log if you are interested, and I will connect you with them.

So as a Reporter and Scribe for and of the Kingdom, I had to do “research” for the article. I had to have reliable and credible sources.  I had to ready myself before scrutinizing the “subject.”  I had to prepare, just as Esther made preparation before going before the King (Esther Chapter 5).

I had already begun a study of the Book of Esther for the young girls at the Orphanage “Los Angelitos” (see http://www.christinus.net/).  We, the women of Heart to Heart, had determined in our hearts that these precious girls needed to know that they had precious seeds in their hearts, and that they like another orphan girl had a destiny and a purpose.  The plans with the orphanage have temporarily been placed on hold. The Lord will determine the time. The point being, that I was already doing “research” for the article and the event.

I inquired of the Holy Spirit whether this was a feature story, an opinion piece, a review or news.  I heard a Word I am familiar with (because that is a “Buzz Word” for my spirit I first received in March 2007) Uji – Headline messages; “uji” points to something about being here at this time (Kairos)

Hmm., “Headline News.”   So I asked, “Well Lord how is this mega – thousands of years old story going to be told by this rookie reporter?

Then I received the Words:

Urbi – Egyptian Word meaning “princess”

Haknast Kallah – (Hakhnasat Kallah) Hebrew Word (see the following explanation

“lit. “bringing in the bride,” i.e., enabling the bride to enter into marriage). Fund devoted to provide needy brides with a dowry to buy the basic necessities of married life. In the Morning Prayer, it is said that hakhnasat kallah is among those precepts “whose fruit is eaten in this world, while the principal remains for the World to Come” from:

http://www.answers.com/topic/hakhnasat-kallah

It struck me that we were to see Esther as more than a Jewish Orphan Girl chosen by God to be Queen of a Kingdom, but to consider Esther as a bride. Look at the detail of the description above for the bride. Do you see:

·         He enabled the bride (Esther) to enter into marriage just as the Blood of Jesus enables us to be the Bride of Christ and sit at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Revelations 19: 7 – 9)

·         The needy bride (orphan girl) was provided for and enabled

·         “Hakhnasat kallah is among those precepts “whose fruit is eaten in this world, while the principal remains for the World to Come”

We know that the reward of the Christian who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and has confessed that he or she is a sinner saved by grace (extended scepter), and perseveres, the reward is the “World to Come” (let’s look at the following):

  • Mark 10:30
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
  • Luke 18:30
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Extra, Extra, Read All About It!

As Martha L. Rodriguez of Circle of Power Women’s Ministry presented the topical study of “Queen Esther’s Banquet” our hearts and minds were captured.

  • She spoke about favor and grace of the extended scepter (the awesome symbol of the extended scepter)
  • She spoke about how we as women are being prepared “for such a time as this.”
  • She challenged us as women “destined with a purpose” with a call on our life.
  • She described the Providence of God.
  • She described the “Blessed Hope” of the Bride of Christ before her King and Lord.
  • She spoke about how Esther stepped up and became a heroine (“….and if I perish, I perish” – Esther 4:16)
  • She spoke about how just as Esther was “grafted” into the kingdom, we too have the same access
  • She expounded on how the sweet aroma of Hadassah (Esther’s Hebrew name) comes from the word “myrtle” ? A tree of which its leaves become fragrant when crushed, just as Esther’s destiny was hidden and waiting to be released, until she was hard-pressed, and her sweet fragrance arose before her Lord.
  • The most thrilling to my heart was that just as Esther dared to have the right of entry to the Throne Room by obedience and preparation, today’s woman, has that same admission.   I receive the Word: Dabareh – (Hebrew) obedient

Yes, it is all of the above and more.  I have read and reread the Book of Esther many times through the years, but this was different.  From the eye of a reporter Esther is married to a Historical Figure that cannot be disputed, for his kingdom and battles are archeological evidence, (and you know the saying, “behind every good man is….A WOMAN).

I receive the Words:

Eberi, (this is a Word I previously received in 2007) also known as Iberi, Ibri, and also Haberi, and can be traced through archeological records and biblical accounts.  “The People of God”, I say to myself.  I read that the Jewish people today know themselves in Hebrew as Ivri. In ancient times they were known as Ibri amongst themselves, but the Romans called them Iberi. It seems that it was pronounced in different ways by different cultures as it sounded to them.  (There are many arguments as to who the Iberi people really are), but this is what was impressed upon me, “God’s people”.

Martha spoke about the treasures hidden within the text, within the story. I am sure you can relate to how the backdrop, “that” which it took to get you to “that point”.  What is your back story, that which brought you to this place?   The story was brought alive.

And what about how Martha illustrated on Esther 2:9 when Esther entered into the custody of Hegai, the keeper of the women (symbol of the Holy Spirit), and how she entered into his care and protection. The counselor who had Wisdom and Knowledge, and who guided her as to what she should speak and how she should present herself before her king.  Martha described as to how that same favor is bestowed upon us through the Holy Spirit. As Martha described, He grants us the best place, and promotion, election and selection.  The Holy Spirit will equip us for “such a time as this.” I receive the Word:

Sunesis – of Greek origin meaning “building and growing together through knowledge.

Chabad – Hebrew acronym for Chachmah, Bina and Da’at, which means wisdom, understanding and knowledge, respectively. In plain English, these words translate to three core mental functions in the process of what is commonly known as thought: that first flash of insight (Chachmah), the cogitation and rumination that follows (Binah), and thirdly, the ability to internalize and unite with an idea; thus emotionally processing it so that it is not just an abstract theory but something that becomes part of your heart and soul (Da’at).  From http://www.askmoses.com

Esther 2:9 – 15 reads:

8 When the king’s order and edict had been proclaimed, many girls were brought to the citadel of Susa and put under the care of Hegai. Esther also was taken to the king’s palace and entrusted to Hegai, who had charge of the harem. 9 The girl pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven maids selected from the king’s palace and moved her and her maids into the best place in the harem.

10 Esther had not revealed her nationality and family background, because Mordecai had forbidden her to do so. 11 Every day he walked back and forth near the courtyard of the harem to find out how Esther was and what was happening to her.

12 Before a girl’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics. 13 And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given her to take with her from the harem to the king’s palace. 14 In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the concubines. She would not return to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name.

15 When the turn came for Esther (the girl Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king’s eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested. And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her. 16 She was taken to King Xerxes in the royal residence in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

17 Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. 18 And the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality.

Let’s look at Isaiah 62:3 which reads: ”You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand ! “  As I write the above, I receive the Word:

Ahava:  To give the best explanation – the following is from : http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/1_faqs.html#love1 – The Hebrew word translated as “love” is “ahav” (spelled aleph-hey-beyt) which comes from the parent root “hav” (spelled hey-beyt). Hav means “the family one is born into and given as a gift, a privilege.” From this parent root comes the child root “ahav” (love) meaning “the love (emotional and actions) one gives to the family that one is privileged with.” The best example of this is the love one should have for God. Deut 4.7 “And you shall love (ahav) YHWH, your God, with all your heart (lev) and with all your soul (nephesh) and with all your greatness (me’od).”

Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 2:9 reads: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”

Lyrics by Darrell Evans

Your love is extravagant
Your friendship intimate
I find I’m moving
To the rhythms of Your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating
In our secret place
Your love is extravagant

Spread wide in the arms of Christ
Is the love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known
You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again
Capture my heart again

Deeper than the deepest ocean
Your love is
Higher than the highest mountain
Reaches higher than the Heavens
Still it finds its way to me
Finds its way to me

The “Pressed Reporter” …

The “Pressed Reporter” Monday 1:14 Pacific Standard Time

Saturday April 25th, 2009 – I attended “Queen Esther’s Banquet” which was a blessing in and of itself. While there, for the first time publicly the Holy Spirit began to impress Words upon me, and I began to write. I received instruction that I was to report “Headline News” regarding the event and post.  (That Word was also for someone in attendance with whom I shared.) However, This post goes under the instruction of the “Pressed Reporter”  Acts 18:5 (King James Version) –  5And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

After leaving the event, and arriving home, the Holy Spirit continued to give me Words and Scripture, continuing much of the night and the following day.  I went to bed early (about ten p.m. PST), and was feeling very dizzy, and tired and just not well.  I hit the bed and commended myself to the Lord, my vision became blurred and glassy-eyed, I began to hear a low groaning, in short breaths, (like uh, uh, uh), which of course made me sit right straight up, and it stopped. I began to pray in the spirit, and laid my head on the pillow, and began to hear at the same time the groaning, and my vision became blurry, and glassy-eyed and almost tearful, and then it was as if I was looking through someone’s eyes.  This someone was trudging along, and struggling with a heavy burden. I was still awake, and sat up again, and I asked the Lord “who is it”, but only the soft groaning was audible.  The eyes of “someone” looked down, and I could see the shuffling sandaled feet, and sand and rubble was being stirred up, and the feet were definitely male.  “My Lord” I cried out. The feet stopped in their tracks, and as Someone’s eyes looked back, I could see the footprints in the sand.

I fell against my pillow, no longer dizzy, but amazed.  I began to worship in the Holy language, and I received a Word, and text.  I committed them to memory, and must have fallen asleep.  I began to dream of the Holy Land, and was an observer of many things.   At 1:14 Pacific Standard Time, the Lord woke me up, and told me to post. “Lord, I reasoned, the article on Queen Esther is only half completed.”  And then the instruction to post as The “Pressed Reporter” and again heard the text number and a Word. The scripture is as follows:

1 Peter 2: 2 – 7 (NIV)

“2Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6For in Scripture it says:
”See, I lay a stone in
Zion,
      a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”[a] 7Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,
   ”The stone the builders rejected
      has become the capstone,[b]“[c] 8and,
”A stone that causes men to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”[d] They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.   9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

For those of you familiar with how the Words come, and thee manner presented, the Words in verse 3 were glimmering and breathing, (the Spirit prompts me to write – “For His Word is the Living Word). Verse 3 reads: “now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.”

I had written in the last two posting about Seed and Harvest and ended both postings with the following scripture:  O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:8 – NASB version)

I sat dumbstruck for a moment, but then my Spirit raised up into worship.  However, worship was halted by the insistence of the Word (hold onto your socks) as follows:

Bet SHAVUOT – this is too awesome for me to even attempt to explain to you, so I will tell you that depending on your perspective, it has to do with Pentecost (Holy Spirit), a celebration (50 days {7 weeks} after Passover), and commemorates the giving of the Word on Mount Sinai.  Agriculturally, the significance celebrates the Harvest. This is too extensive for me to even attempt to give you the significance, and all the different levels it contains.  So do a Word search, first in your heart, and then on the computer.

All I can report is that seed was in my hand, it was sown , and the Harvest is on the Horizon.  And that is just on the spiritual level, can you imagine all the other baskets of Harvest I have to prepare for.  Again, I challenge you, “O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:8 – NASB version).

So this pressed reporter signs off Blessed, and can say “I have tasted that the Lord is Good.”  God Bless You and Good Morning!

Seed Answers

Filed under: Biblegateway, Faith, Christian, Bible, Worship, Ministry, God, Jesus, — kairoskingdomwomen @ 10:18 pm

Great greeting Dear ones:

Yesterday,  as I posted the “On the Job” writing at “kairoskingdomwomen” I told the Lord, out loud, “I am sowing Your Word Lord and am expecting a harvest in all, spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially, and in my work.”  The well is dry in my work situation and financially.

I had to give testimony to someone that I was “pregnant with a promise”.   That got my mom’s attention, alright. So I explained that I was sowing in different ways unto the Lord, and when someone plants something they expect blooming in due time.  I was so sure that I was carrying a promise, and claimed it with all my heart for double portion and overflow. I happily went around the house declaring double portion on my purse, wallet, pockets, refrigerator, car, anyplace I could and laid my hand on that need, I even included the poodles (who need grooming and vaccinations).

Weell…. (say it like a southern preacher), the Lord did not tarry.  He said to prove him and I did.  In the evening, after sowing His Word, and His promise, God provided the seed to plant my monetary seed offering (more than enough), not only that, he gave me harvest to begin to pay the people connected to my work, not only that, Kiki and Dolly (our poodles) are having a harvest grooming, not only that, I was able to plant seed into other’s people’s needs.

One of them told me, NO I cannot take this, and then said I will pay you later, and I said, you cannot say no, I am planting seed for your need.  I joyfully and all of us crying came before the Lord for his provision.

I am taking the bounty and planting seed in all the areas of lack, and am still expecting a harvest.  My slope is begin to enlarge (like Jabez’s prayer) and I know God will entrust me to care for the cattle on one of his hills.

The Holy Spirit again reminds me of the Hebrew Word for blessing is berakah (ber-aw-kaw’) blessing; prosperity (Strong’s Concordance), and to remember  (Deuteronomy 28:8 reads): “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

The Holy Spirit prompts me to remind you of the door and the key.  Then He gives me the Words in Hebrew:

Delet – door

Soger – lock

Ober -  passable / admissible / cross over

Wow, what a truth, the lock to a door has a key.

Then He gives me one last Word on this, also Hebrew:

Rehoboth: broad place

Than you Father, for Psalm 18:19 reads:
He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

God is GOOD!  Dear one, again I invite you to “O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (Psalm 34:8 – New American Standard Bible version)

On The Job..

Hello friends and family, I have been diligently trying to work all morning, and in between dictations, and reports I am working on, the Holy Spirit keeps interjecting Words and thoughts into my Spirit. Clearly I am to do the Lord’s dictation, so I must share this if I am to continue “working” today.  As I give in to the Holy Spirit, I collect my thoughts and check the “Kairos” email (I learned some time ago not to say “I will check my Kairos email”, as I clearly heard “it is not yours”). Well, I should not be surprised to have found an email with what the Lord was impressing on my heart, and then it was confirmed by another close friend’s email thought.

So, friends and family, in this season, as we by faith continue in our jobs, and Bless God for enabling our hands, feet and entire body to do the work, I think upon how many friends and family members are voicing the same prayer request about their concerns financially. Even as we ask for prayer, we also voice that which we know to be true, that the economy belongs to God, for our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills and takes care of the needs of the Sparrow and the Swallow.

We continue by faith (II Corinthians 5:7), even as we live in this world and its struggles, and we continue to believe and know that we are blessed.

The Hebrew Word for blessing is berakah (ber-aw-kaw’) blessing; prosperity (Strong’s Concordance). So the blessing encompasses all things.  When we look to God’s Word we find that right from the start, in Genesis 22:17 it reads:  “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;” (King James Version) The “New American Standard Bible” reads as follows: “indeed I will greatly bless you.” Hebrews 6:14 reads: “Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.” The next verse is striking as it reads “and so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”  (Hebrews 6:15)

In the midst of financial upheaval (moreso, since the life changing illness) from December 2008 onward, I have often reminded the Lord, that the cattle on a thousand hills is His, so could he please see fit to bring blessing to my slope.  Let me share that on one trying hard day, as I struggled to do my work, and bemoaned that the clients were hard-pressing (on every side – like Paul states in 2 Corinthians 4:8-14).  The Holy Spirit opened my eyes to how being hard-pressed allowed our faith to function. That day I learned a secret and a truth, that as we pray for our jobs and for our work to continue, that we must consider the earthly source, our employers, clients, etc. So as it concerned my little piece of the earth, I began to pray for the doctors, the administrators, the patients’, and the staff, and anything or anyone that would come into contact with me, or the business. I was led to consider Joseph and his circumstances.  Genesis 39:5 (King James Version) reads  “And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.”  So you see, God considers the entire picture.  So when we pray for our financial circumstances we must diligently pray for our companies, businesses and the connections we have.  I join you in praying that uncommon favor, blessing and grace overtake your circumstances, and in all the things which you set your hands to labor (Deuteronomy 28:8 reads): “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

Now this is a sensitive subject, and I am learning a great truth in giving to God what is rightfully His, as I was in conversation with God upon this very subject, I heard and saw the Words: Tiddor and was struck by the direct response. I tried to reasn the meaning of the Word, but time after time it took me to Ecclesiastes 5:4-8 which reads:

5:4 When you make a vow 1  to God, do not delay in paying it. 2

For God 3  takes no pleasure in fools:

Pay what you vow!

5:5 It is better for you not to vow

than to vow and not pay it. 4

Well  that verse goes to the storehouse mentioned in Malachi 3:10. Hmm, that sounds familiar, let’s look at the scripture I mentioned earlier, “Genesis 39:5 (King James Version) reads  “And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.”   Well  that verse goes back to the storehouse doesn’t it in Malachi 3:10?

Malachi 3:10 reads:  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”  That ties in with the first scripture we looked at in Genesis 22:17.  Hold it! There is more blessing to be found in the verses that follows Malachi 3:10 – see the following promises:

·         Malachi 3:11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

·         Malachi 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.”

So we see that blessing comes to our homes, our fields, our storehouses, our families, our nation, our hearts and our spiritual life.  Genesis 39 shows “..and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he (Joseph) had.”

Dear one, I invite you to “O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” (psalm 34:8 – New American Standard Bible version)
