Intro Kairos Women-to-Women
Hello Heart-to-Heart Ladies, this is the One-Year-Anniversary of Kairos Women-to-Women. Last year on October 26, 2006, I wrote the following: Let me tell you a story, all of last week I kept hearing the message, “hear” my voice. And I felt my spirit excited within me on Saturday, October 21, 2006, the day of Heart-to-Heart gathering, and I went open to “Hear” and then prepared to discern what I had heard, and wait for confirmation. Well, I was just blown out of the water, because the words of knowledge that were spoken over me, were things I had been pondering all summer. It was so amazing how so many things have been lined up, so many things that had been set for a purpose. Well, I took these few days to let the Sprit of God confirm his perfect will, and I am still seeking his face. Well, I had it in my spirit that I would like to launch the Newsletter on or around Thanksgiving 2006. So I was working away at the computer in the middle of the night, and was doing transcription work, and had a Christian netwrok on low volume, and wasn’t really focused on the program, but just had it on. Well suddenly, the TV boomed out, “Woman of God” and I turned around and looked at the television because I had goose-bumps, and I promise you, the preacher looked like he was looking and talking to me, well anyway, I looked away, and was listening, but not looking, when suddenly, he said, “woman you know this is for you”, well, I did not catch the name of the brother on television, but basically he said, “what God has ordained for you, has been confirmed, what are you waiting for?” Then he continued saying, “God gave you the creative resources and you are to use them according to the Spirit. Do it in the time frame of Thanksgiving to God. You have the name, put action to the words.” Then another speaker came on screen sitting next to the gentlemen, and she said, mostly the same words that God gave two dear women friends. She said it was a calling far greater than I could imagine, and the Lord would take it world-wide, and the blessing would be without measure. Then they went on speaking to other listeners. So here I am….here is the name of the Newsletter, after much prayer…..English and Spanish version (I pray)….

Now what does Kairos mean, you ask? The dictionary says the following: Kairos is an ancient Greek word meaning the “right or opportune moment”. The ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological or sequential time, the word Kairos signifies “a time in between”, a moment of undetermined period of time in which “something” special happens. What the special something is depends on who is using the word.. Kairos — Greek word for “time”
In the New Testament, the word kairos is used very specifically. A fuller translation would be, “God’s appointed/approved time” (Mark 1:15, 2 Corinthians 6:2, 1 Peter 5:6). In addition, Kairos is the Greek word for a unique moment in time, a predestined era. An Author describes “kairos” this way: “The hour which is the God-given moment of destiny not to be shrunk from but seized with decisiveness, the floodtide of opportunity and demand in which the unseen waters of the future surge down to the present.” So Heart-to Heart ladies keep me in prayer as I go obey this time of fulfillment. That the Lord may set my steps in motion and position. It is time for all of us to be empowered and proceed. ….
