Here I am to Worship from: WorshipVideo

Thanksgiving was busy with the planning of the meal and setting up to welcome family to our home.  It would have been so easy to loose focus of what we were celebrating.  Two of my little nephews, Jacob and Luke, with the assistance of their mom Linda, and dad Jesse, and Aunt Joyce, took special care to recall the blessings God had bestowed on us throughout the year. They stopped at about 60 blessings, but could have continued. They made beautiful fall colored leaves which showed a blessing. Some of the blessings were aunts, uncles, brothers, emails, our doctors, our pets, our healing, our planet, our leaders, family names, and the most important our salvation.  These were placed on the tables, and along the chair rail in the dining room. We continued to share and remain thankful long after the meal and the day.  That night I thanked God for having been surrounded by family. He has been our Provider, our Redeemer and has lifted up our heads this year.  Yes, these leaves of thanksgiving were tangible objects of God’s loving provision each and every day. On this special day, as I read through the Psalms, here and there, something stood out, the praise and thanksgiving on these pages were more than just praising God for what he had done, but were praising God for who He is. Lastly, I closed my thanksgiving day with Psalm 135, for He is good and His mercy endures forever. Be Blessed!
